Lady Barmen Site UI Design

Objective
Design the user interface (UI) for a website using conventional UI patterns that are user friendly and express good balance in design.

Problem
Social media influencers, Lady Barmen, have cocktail recipes they have shared on their Instagram account, but are looking to branch out into an ad-sponsored website for their content.

Process
Researched comparable sites and analyzed the success of their UI patterns. Compiled proposed example interfaces into a series of wireframes with varying fidelity, then created a finalized interactive prototype.

Solution
The final design incorporated many conventional UI patterns, including: feature, search and browse, menu header and footer, cards in a grid of equals, titled sections, accordion, split panel, breadcrumbs, hover tools, and tool tips.

Outcome
The design received positive feedback from the clients, instructor, and classmates.
